Freeze Timer Overlay

I thought a kind of industrial steel look would be pretty cool for this kind of content in this video, almost with a throwback to the old Nickelodeon Game Shows like “Legends of the Hidden Temple” and GUTS. With a little more time, it would be easy to make this look either more cartoony or more realistic. The timer could also be made to look like the flip-down half-tiles in old alarm clocks. I think the vintage look really emphasizes the nostalgia of real-world competitions like this. You know, actually having to move a little…

Path Animation

Something like this for the initial expo and progress of each side could add a real sense of depth, distance traveled, and time passage to the piece. Again this could be made to be photorealistic with just the path overlays, or more like the current animated style. Static content doesn’t ever hold bones to its moving counterparts, and this could add a lot of professionalism and that something extra to your videos. There are both a daytime and nighttime version here to give you an idea of what we can do with lighting also.

Clearly this is a rough draft proposal and would be a high quality polished segment if you chose to move forward with it. Please keep that in mind.

Not to mention…….

We could start implementing all sorts of visual effects…. from teleportation, to you shooting firey lazers from your eyeballs, to anything your heart desired. If you have an idea you’d like to see hashed out for this kind of stuff, I’m happy to provide that to you.

Beyond that, I’m very easy to work with, and take criticism (especially on collaborative efforts like this) extremely well. I’m willing to try anything twice, just in case the first time was an anomaly. I’ve had a lot of different experiences in my life that give me a unique perspective on a lot of things, which is always a good thing if you are trying to really stand out in a creative endeavour. I also work pretty quickly in the brainstorming and roughing out stages, but am definitely the kind of person that would work nonstop on something until it was frame-perfect, even if it meant needing a few extra cups of coffee or a sunlight-replacement therapy lamp. Some people also seem to think I’m funny and personable. I don’t know, I just do me…
